Biography

Rep. Rick Beck is serving his 6th term in the Arkansas House. He represents District 43 which includes portions of Conway and Van Buren counties.

For the 95th General Assembly, Rep. Beck serves as the Vice-Chair on the House State Agencies and Governmental Affairs Committee. He also serves on the House Education Committee and the Arkansas Legislative Council. 

He is a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas and currently works as an electrical engineer at Kimberly-Clark in Maumelle.

He has received a Scout Master Award of Merit for his work with the Boy Scouts of America.  He is a member of the Conway County Arts Council and serves on the Advisory Board for Industrial Technologies for the University of Arkansas Community College Morrilton.

He has also previously served with the Center Ridge Volunteer Fire Department and is a past board member of the Sacred Heart Catholic School.

Rep. Beck and his wife Sheila have one son and one daughter and currently reside in Center Ridge.
